TO GIVE A FILM, A SONIC IDENTITY
I like the idea of giving a film its musical identity through sound. I work with sonorities, timbres and textures to shape the sonic word of a film
This usually leads me to compose hybrid musiC. It may be the union of analog synthesizer and a cello, the blending of a wind quartet with electronic textures, or using transformed voices, altered singing and strings
My intention is to create a guiding thread and gives the film its own sonic identity to which can audience hold on
about
me
and how I see my work
During my studies at the CRR in Lyon and my MAAAV master’s program, I had the chance to meet many students and professionals from the film industry. I was able to explore, learn and experiment with my own musical style, and to understand how I could support and collaborate with directors in creating the soundtrack for their projects.
Today, I’m grateful to have developed a clear vision of music in cinema, its role, and the many paths it can take depending on the film. I take great pleasure in meeting a team’s expectations while also suggesting ideas that might not have imagined, in order to find the music that will best enhance the images

first steps
One summer in Carpentras, when I was still teenager, a friend introduced me to Julia Ducourneau’s film Grave. I remember being struck by the score; I wondered « How did the composer make it so relevant, narrative and alive, while leaving unexpected sounds ? » I believe that feeling of being carried by the blending of timbres has never left me. Today, I want to create that kind of experience to the audience
